It is my prayer that you have enjoyed my miniture series on marriage. We know that marriage was ordained by God; therefore, the enemy hates it and longs to destroy it. Therefore, we must not allow the enemy to have a foothold in our marriage relationships. It is vital that both parties work hard to maintain the marriage; however, if this is not the case then allow God to use YOU to turn it around!

Now, let's take a journey into the area that is most important to our spouses outside of respect. That is the area of intimacy! Every husband needs it and desires it no matter what is going on in our lives or their lives. It doesn't matter if you've worked all day, taking care of the kids, running errands, preparing dinner, etc. (you get the point! Sex is so vitally important because every time you come together in intimacy you become one in spirit. If it were not so Jesus would not have identified the woman at the well as being married. He saw her as one with the man she had been with.

We as woman are so emotionally connected to things that if intimacy doesn't start early in the morning with taking out the trash, helping get the kids ready for school, or any other chore like duty we shut down. We really need to change that. The bible says that the Holy Spirit is our "helper" so let's utilize the help. Ask the Holy Spirit to assist you in meeting the needs of your husband in the area of intimacy. Here are a few suggestions, when you roll over in the morning pursue him first thing by providing him with what Min. Chaun Pinkston likes to call a "maintenance quickie". This will help in those in between times when you really want to satisfy him while your mind is fresh and clear. Next, if your spouse needs you after a long days work, simply ask him for a few minutes so that you can get refreshed. Step away and employ supernatural assistance to help you renew your mind and get prepared. A quick shower to refresh, a favorite perfume, candles, and soft music can set the stage for play that he will never forget. If you are angry at your spouse, quickly set your will to forgive him despite who was at fault so that you can always keep the doors of intimacy open. Intimacy is a sure way to send the devil packing because when you come together you are one.

Ladies, get creative and pursue. Always look nice around your spouse to keep him attracted to you! Make him feel desired and make him hate to leave home! God ordained marriage and He also ordained sex for marriage so employ His help and allow Him to take your love life to new dimensions!
